Higher Executive Officer - Finance Manager
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, the Finance Manager will be a qualified accountant and will manage all aspects of the finance function. S/he will ensure that income and expenditure are properly managed and financial controls are in place and adhered to. The post holder will assist the Head of Corporate Services with financial strategy and financial projections and will prepare annual budgets and monitor individual unit budgets on an on-going basis, ensuring adequate controls including procurement controls are in place.
Salary; Civil Service Higher Executive Officer scale €47,081 to €59,294 (7 point scale & 2 long service increments).
Please Note: Entry will be at the minimum point of the scale and the rate of remuneration will not be subject to negotiation and may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Subject to satisfactory performance increments may be payable in line with current Government Policy.
Candidates should note that different pay and conditions may apply if, immediately prior to appointment, the appointee is a serving civil or public servant.
Annual leave entitlement for this position is 29 days and CORU operates a flexi-time policy.
