Maeve Cleary

Maeve Cleary is a Speech and Language Therapist Manager with the Health Service Executive (HSE) in the South Eastern Community Healthcare. She has been a practising Speech and Language Therapist since 1993. She has a BSc in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and an MSc Clinical Speech & Language Studies from TCD in 2000.

Maeve was a Speech and Language Therapist representative on the National benchmarking process for SLT in 2002-2004 and served on the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT) Validation Committee from 2010 until the commencement of CORU regulation of the profession in 2016.

Maeve is also a member of the Preliminary Proceedings Committee at CORU since 2016.

Maeve currently works in the Carlow Kilkenny area as the SLT Manager role for all aspects of SLT services in the two counties, including: Primary care, Disabilities, Older persons, Acute hospital, Mental Health and Residential care.
