Clerical Officer - Legal

CORU are currently recruiting for a Clerical Officer within our Legal & Fitness to Practise Unit. The Clerical Officer, reporting to the Hearings Officer(s)/ Executive Officer(s) and Inquiries Manager, is responsible for providing support in Fitness to Practise (FtP). The Fitness to Practise Department deal with complaints under Part 6 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended) in order to ensure that natural justice and fair procedures are observed and provide support in relation to matters arising from the operation of the Act.

Salary for the roles will be based on the Civil Service Clerical Officer scale €30,797 to €47,950 (14 point scale & 2 long service increments).

Please Note: Initial remuneration for this position will be at the first point of the scale. This rate will apply where the appointee is not an existing civil or public servant appointed on or after 6th April 1995 or is newly recruited to the Public Service and is required to make a personal pension contribution.

Annual leave entitlement for the role as Clerical Officer is 22 days and CORU operates a flexi-time policy. This is a pensionable position.

Hybrid working available subject to completion of successful probation.
