Executive Officer - Education
CORU currently has a vacancy at Executive Officer level.
The current vacancy is for an Education Officer at Executive Officer level. Reporting to the Education Manager the successful candidate will be a member of the CORU executive working as part of a small team and supporting the education quality management of the organisation.
The Education Officer is a junior management role within the organisation.
This position presents a unique opportunity for applicants with the requisite qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience to join a growing and dynamic team.
The Education Officer will be responsible for implementing and coordinating CORU’s education quality assurance processes to enable registration boards meet their requirements under Part 5 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended).
The range of activities include project management, research, selection and management of panel of experts, customer service management including dealing with queries from the public and stakeholders.
Please note: this position may involve considerable amounts of national travel outside of core business hours.
Salary for this position will be paid on the Civil Service Executive Officer scale €30,127 to €50,834 (12 point scale & 2 long service increments).
Please Note: Initial remuneration for this position will be at the first point of the scale. This rate will apply where the appointee is an existing civil or public servant appointed on or after 6th April 1995 or is newly recruited to the Public Service and is required to make a personal pension contribution.
Annual leave entitlement for this position is 23 days and CORU operates a flexi-time policy. This is a pensionable position.
