Higher Executive Officer - Inquiries Manager
CORU currently has a vacancy for the role of Inquiries Manager, at HEO level.
Under the Health and Social Care Professionals Act, 2005, the Health and Social Care Professional Council (CORU) is a statutory body set up to protect the public by promoting high standards of professional conduct and professional education, training and competence among registrants of the designated professions.
Reporting to the Head of Fitness to Practise and Legal Affairs, the Inquiries Manager will progress complaints under Part 6 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended) (“the Act”) in order to ensure that natural justice and fair procedures are observed and provide support in relation to matters arising from the operation of the Act.
Salary for this position will be paid on the Civil Service Higher Executive Officer scale €49,845 to €62,7762 (7 point scale & 2 long service increments).
Please Note: Initial remuneration for this position will be at the first point of the scale.
This rate will apply where the appointee is not an existing civil or public servant appointed on or after 6th April 1995 or is newly recruited to the Public Service and is required to make a personal pension contribution.
Annual leave entitlement for this position is 29 days. This is a pensionable position.
The interview will take place via remote means, it is envisaged that this will be the week of 25th October 2021. Further rounds of interview may be necessary.
