Human Resources Manager - Higher Executive Officer

The Corporate Services Department is key to supporting the wider functions of CORU, providing strategic and operational corporate support and advice to the different business units of CORU to achieve the statutory goals and responsibilities of the organisation. Corporate Services is responsible for managing a diverse range of matters including; Governance and Compliance, Facilities, Customer Service and Communications, Finance, Human Resources and ICT.

The position as the Human Resources Manager offers a fulfilling and responsible role in a busy and challenging environment working on interesting and varied issues. It provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to the delivery of HR services in a dynamic organisation with a wide range of responsibilities.

The Human Resources Manager will report to the Head of Corporate Services. The Human Resources Manager will lead the Human Resource function in implementing HR strategy to provide an employee-orientated, high-performance culture. This will emphasise empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment and on-going development of an exceptional workforce.

Salary for this position will be paid on the Higher Executive Officer PPC scale €57,122 to €71,939 (9 point scale & 2 long service increments).

Please Note: Initial remuneration for this position will be at the first point of the scale. This rate will not apply where the appointee is an existing civil or public servant appointed on or after 6th April 1995 or is newly recruited to the Public Service and is required to make a personal pension contribution.

Annual leave entitlement for the role as Higher Executive Officer is 29 days and CORU operates a flexi-time policy. This is a pensionable position.
