Notice of Candidates validly nominated

Notice of election of members for appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board and request for nomination of candidates for one electoral category was published in the Irish Times newspaper and on the website of www.coru.ie on Monday 28 March 2022.

The closing date for receipt of nominations was 12 noon on Friday 29 April 2022.

Candidate for Category 2: Registrant engaged in the management of services provided by the profession

No nomination papers were received for the vacancy in electoral category two for the Occupational Therapists Registration Board.

The Returning Officer formally declares that in accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended) and the bye-law governing the election procedures (S.I. No. 480 of 2016), one member is to be appointed by the Minister under Section 28(6) to compensate for the deficiency in the number of elected registrants in electoral category two.
