ELECTION OF MEMBERS FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE RADIOGRAPHERS REGISTRATION BOARD (S.I. No. 150 of 2014)

Notice of candidates elected for each category

The notice of election of members for appointment to the Radiographers Registration Board and request for nominations of candidates for two electoral categories was published in the Irish Times newspaper and on www.coru.ie on 03 November 2021.

The closing date for receipt of ballots was 5pm on 14 January 2022.  The counting of votes commenced at 10am on 21 February 2022.

On 29 November 2021 two candidates were deemed elected in electoral category two (2) as the number of nominations equals the number of vacancies in that category. 

One member has been deemed validly nominated and elected in one (1) electoral category (Category 1) on Monday 21 February 2022. 

Category 1:

The following candidate has been declared validly nominated and elected in Category 1 Registrant who is engaged in the practice of the profession of Radiographer or Radiation Therapist

The results of the election and details of each count in Category 1 are available here

In accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended), the names of the above candidate will be forwarded to the Minister for Health for appointment to the Radiographers Registration Board
