Notice of candidates elected for each category

The notice of election of members for appointment to the Radiographers Registration Board and request for nominations of candidates for three electoral categories was published in the Irish Times newspaper and on www.coru.ie.

The closing date for receipt of nominations was 12 noon on Friday 08 December 2023.

The closing date for receipt of ballot papers was 5pm on Wednesday 07 February 2024. The counting of votes began at 10am on 14 February 2024.

Members have been deemed validly nominated and elected in three electoral categories’.

Category 3:

The following candidate has been declared validly nominated and elected in Category 3: Registrant who is engaged in the education and training of persons in the practice of the profession.

The results of the election and details of each count are available here. 

In accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended), the names of the above candidate will be forwarded to the Minister for Health for appointment to the Radiographers Registration Board.
