Appointments to Registration Boards - July - December 2022
The Minister of Health made a number of appointments and re-appointments to Council and Registration Boards between July 2022 and December 2022
Health and Social Care Professionals Council
Catriona Sweeney was appointed as a representative of Occupational Therapists.
Medical Scientists Registration Board
Eamonn Grennan and Karen Watret were reappointed as representatives of the interest of the general public.
Social Workers Registration Board
Aine Davin was appointed as a representative engaged in the practice and Maria McGloughlin was appointed as a representative engaged in the management of the profession. Pat Bennett was reappointed as a representative of the management in the private/voluntary health/social care sectors. Colm O'Doherty was reappointed as a representative of the interest of the general public.
Physiotherapists Registration Board
Joanne Dowds and Sheelagh MacNeill were appointed as representatives engaged in the practice. Róisín O'Hanlon was appointed as a representative engaged in the management of the profession.
Podiatrists Registration Board
Angela McAnearney was reappointed as a representative engaged in the practice of the profession. David Watterson was reappointed as a representative engaged in the management of the profession. Kieran O'Leary was reappointed as a representative of the management in the private/voluntary health/social care sectors. Aonghus O'Loughlin and Catherine Clune Mulvaney (Chairperson) were reappointed as representatives of the interest of the general public.
