Aine Davin
Aine Davin, is currently working as a Social Work Team Leader in Psychiatry of Later Life based in Laois/Offaly. She completed all of her third level education at University College Dublin (UCD), graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies. She returned to education in 1996, completing a Diploma in Social Policy and transitioning from there onto the Masters in Social Work Programme in UCD. In 1999, she qualified as a social worker.
Aine began her social work career as a professionally qualified social worker in the HSE Child and Family Services in Roscommon. In 2010, she joined the primary care social work team in the Midlands before moving to a Team Leader post in Psychiatry of Later Life in 2015. With over twenty years’ experience in social work, Aine is passionate about human rights, social justice and is keen to have an opportunity to contribute to the development of the social work profession with CORU.
