David Watterson

David Watterson is a Podiatry Clinical Manager for the HSE in CHO Area 2 and has worked for the Public Health Service since 2002.

As well as being responsible for the professional specific governance for clinicians in primary care and hospital services, David is also responsible for the management and governance for Merlin Park Podiatry Clinic in Galway. This clinic provides the majority of the clinical education for the students from the Podiatric Medicine Programme in National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG).

Along with his HSE role David is an honorary Senior Lecturer with the Podiatric Medicine Programme, teaching both academic and clinical elements of the programme. His role also allows him to participate in research, when time permits.
