Continuing to complete 30+ hours of continuous professional development per year, she has undertaken postgraduate modules in Rheumatology (University of Ulster), Podiatric Dermatology (University of Southampton), Allergy (University of Greenwich) and Health Literacy (National University of Ireland, Galway - NUIG).
In 2010 she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Health Promotion from NUIG and is subsequently coordinator of two modules in the BSc Podiatric Medicine course in NUI Galway. Angela has been an active member of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland (SCPI) since 1988 and a Board Member for five years.
She has owned and worked fulltime in private practice in Galway City for the past 30 years. She is passionate about the podiatry profession and keen to see regulation for the protection of the public and increased opportunities for junior colleagues coming into the profession.
