Voluntary removal from the Register
A registrant can apply to take their name off the Register, for example, if they take a leave of absence from employment. This is regarded as voluntary removal from the Register and they must alert CORU in advance.
Registrants who wish to avail of the voluntary removal option must complete and submit a Voluntary Removal Form before the annual renewal date.
A reduced restoration fee of €30 will be available for registrants who voluntarily remove themselves from the Register and who apply for restoration within two years of the removal of their name from the Register. This fee is in addition to the annual retention fee.
