Denis Murphy

Mr Denis Murphy has been Chief Administrative Officer with the Association for Dental Education in Europe since 2013.  He has acquired considerable experience in quality management/assurance in both the private and public sectors, including the Irish healthcare and higher education environments.  He serves as associate faculty with the RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management where he leads on the delivery of two modules on the MSc for Quality and Safety in Healthcare.  Denis has recently completed two terms as a member of the board of NMBI where he served as chair of the Preliminary Proceedings Committee for 5 years.  He received his Professional Doctorate from the University of Sunderland in 2024 for his research dissertation entitled 'Participation, Socialisation and Professionalisation: On-Boarding Insights from a Professional Regulatory Boardroom.
