Treasa Campbell

Dr Campbell lectured part-time at Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) from 2009-2013. She currently has a Teaching Fellowship at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick.

In her work at Limerick Institute of Technology she was involved in three specific areas which she considers to be beneficial in her role as a member of the Health and Social Care Professionals Council. She was responsible for the Module design, validation and delivery of the Ethics Module on the MA in Social Care Management at LIT and the Ethics Module on the BA in Applied Social Care and Social Studies at LIT. Dr Campbell also facilitated discussion forums in the Social Care Sector and has acted as an External Facilitator for the PAUL Partnership (People Action against Unemployment Limited).

In addition she has been involved in the management of post-secondary work placement programmes for adults with intellectual disabilities. She has been awarded a number of research scholarships and has produced and contributed to a considerable number of publications and conference papers. She received her doctorate from Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick in 2012.
