Rachel Mooney

Rachel Mooney is a Chartered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland and is accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) as a Counsellor and Supervisor. She holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Smurfit Business School in Dublin.

Rachel worked full time in the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy from 1993 across the Globe until her retirement from the HSE National Counselling Service in October 2022. She has a particular interest in developmental trauma and the influence on choices made in adult life as a consequence of early life traumatic experiences and events.

Rachel is active in the field of counselling and psychotherapy and as Chief Operations Officer of CORE IMS Limited is actively involved in supporting Counselling and Psychotherapy Services in using Outcome Measurement to inform their practice and provide practice based evidence to enhance the quality of services provided.
