Ukwetan Ofem Egom

Ukwetan Ofem Egom is a CORU-registered Medical Scientist with over 11 years’ experience in Clinical Chemistry and Point-of-Care Testing (POCT). 

He has extensive experience in laboratory quality management, accreditation, service development, staff training, and compliance with ISO 15189 standards across healthcare settings in Ireland.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Chemical Pathology, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Chemistry and Immunology. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (FACSLM), with professional interests in patient safety, regulation, and quality improvement.
