Katie Robinson
Dr Katie Robinson holds a BSc in Occupational Therapy from Trinity College Dublin (2000), an MSc in Disability Management from University College Dublin (2004) and a PhD in Occupational Therapy from the University of Limerick (2012). Katie is currently Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy and Director of Postgraduate Research in the faculty of Education and Health Sciences at the University of Limerick. Katie has sixteen years experience in the higher education sector preparing allied health students for professional practice. Katie has worked clinically in acute and rehabilitation settings as an occupational therapist. Katie’s research interests include ageing research, chronic illness, the history of occupational therapy and the use of qualitative methods.
