Shane Knox

Dr Shane Knox is a registered advanced paramedic and Director of Paramedicine within the National Ambulance Service.  He has completed a Master’s programme in Human Resource Management/ Development and one in Health Professions Education.  He graduated from the School of Medicine in University of Limerick with a PhD on the subject of Continuous Professional Development and is currently an Adjunct Clinical Professor with University College Cork’s School of Medicine.  He was a ministerial appointment to the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council and is currently a member of the HSE-National Ambulance Service Executive Team.
