Martina Ryan

Martina Ryan is the Physiotherapy Services Manager in St. John’s Hospital, Limerick. She received her undergraduate in physiotherapy from University College Dublin and has had a long career history in both the public and private sectors. Concurrent with her clinical management role, Martina served as Policy Procedure and Guideline Coordinator for seven years working with a quality assurance remit for the organisation. This position led her to complete a master’s degree in Health Service Management from Trinity College Dublin which further fostered her interest in both professional and operational accountability and regulation.

Martina was appointed to the Physiotherapists Registration Board in 2014 where she gained an insightful experience in the area of professional regulation during her three year term. She is currently completing the Health Service Executive (HSE) Leadership Academy programme at the Irish Management Institute (IMI).
