Claire Hogan
Originally from Co. Limerick, Claire graduated with a degree in Radiography from University College Dublin (UCD) in 1995 before commencing her career in Ireland. Working as a radiographer in the Mater and Beaumont hospitals in Dublin, Claire then moved to Cork in 2000.
For 17 years she worked in another large teaching hospital, Cork University Hospital (CUH). In Oct 2018, she moved into the private sector and started working for Medica Ireland in Cork where she is currently employed.
Claire has been a member of the CORU Radiographers Registration Board for four years and is passionate about maintaining high standards within the practise in the interest of public safety. With a keen interest in CPD, Claire was involved in creating a sample template which is widely used as a guidance document for radiographers.
For the last year Claire has also represented the Radiographers Registration Board on the Council of CORU who are involved in Corporate Governance and Fitness to Practise (FTP) issues for all of the professions regulated by CORU.
Claire has gained huge experience in this role and continues to use this valuable experience to protect the public as well as improve processes for radiographers and radiation therapists in Ireland.
