Joseph McManus

I have 17 years clinical experience working in the Irish healthcare system. I qualified as a Radiation Therapist having studied at the University of Ulster (Jordanstown) in 2006. My career to date has been base in Galway University Hospital where I have held the following positions; Radiation Therapists, Senior Radiation Therapists, Clinical Specialist and now Deputy Radiotherapy Services Manager.

I hold a Masters in Leadership in Healthcare from UCC and the Irish Management Institute, I sit on the sub committee of the IIRRT for Radiation Therapists.

I hold a particular interest and experience in change management in healthcare which was the basis for my thesis/research in completing my masters. I have a portfolio of multiple conference presentations both national and international. I have given lectures on both the Trinity Maters programme and the UCC post grad programme for radiation therapy.
