Muiris Ó Laoire

Through his international work as a researcher and visiting/guest lecturer, Professor Ó Laoire has vast experience in working with agencies outside the State and is very familiar with different education systems and qualifications. Given his experience as an external examiner of doctoral dissertations in many educational universities in Ireland and abroad, he is very familiar with international standards and benchmarks of proficiency and quality assurance. He works with the Head of Department in Munster Technological University on a Research Ethics Group to evaluate research proposals at undergraduate level and is Chair of the ECEC course board.
